Annual King celebration uses Keep on Marchin’ theme
|

Jefferson’s annual celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will play off the themes of his March 25, 1965, speech on the steps of the Alabama State Capitol following the Selma to Montgomery march to protest Alabama’s segregation laws. The celebration also marks the 40th anniversary of the speech. |

Employers sought for 18th annual career fair
|

Jefferson Community College is seeking employers to participate in its 18th annual Career/Allied Health Fair to be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. March 3, 2005, at the Holiday Inn, 120 W. Broadway, across from the college’s Downtown Campus. The career fair is open to Jefferson students and graduates as well as the general public. |

Criminal Justice courses now offered at Jefferson
|
|
Students interested in careers in law enforcement can now enroll in criminal justice courses offered by Jefferson Community & Technical Colleges in Louisville. Classes begin Jan.10, 2005. A two-year associate degree program is scheduled to launch in the Fall 2005. |
