The Academic calendar contains deadlines, registration timetables, tuition due dates, holidays, and the beginning and end of the semester information.
Jefferson Community and Technical College follows the KCTCS Refund Policy. All credit tuition is refundable based on the length of the academic session. In order to receive a refund, a student must officially withdraw within the refund period specified within this policy. The Academic Calendar reports the last date to drop and receive a 100% refund and last day to withdraw & receive a 50% refund, based on Academic Term and Session Code.
Semester Calendars
When reviewing the academic calendar, please pay attention to the Session you are reviewing.
Each class has a session that it is held within and that session code determines the calendar you should follow. It can be found on your schedule under the Session header.
If you are taking an online class, an email has been sent to your student account and is viewable in Self-Service with important calendar dates for your course!

Jefferson SPOTlight Survey Calendar
Jefferson's Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) tool is called the Jefferson SPOTlight Survey (Student Perspectives on Teaching). This instrument is administered each term to all students enrolled in Jefferson Community and Technical College courses.
The Spring 2024 SPOTlight Surveys will be available between April 15 to April 26, 2024.
