I came to Jefferson because I started here, but had to leave college for a while. I knew I wanted to come back. I love the Music Technology program. We are making music and that’s my passion. We learn all sorts of concepts and theory in the classroom and then we get to come work in the studio. I want to be an audio engineer or music producer. I would love to hear my music, a beat or tune I made, on the radio. I would recommend Jefferson for a lot of people. Some people go to a university first and they are lost. When you start at a community and technical college, you learn how to handle college and when you get to a university, you are better prepared. You can deal with the distractions and focus on your education.
