Surgical Technology

The Surgical Technology Program has been re-activated for Fall 2011.

The Surgical Technology Program at Jefferson Community and Technical College is designed to provide the basic knowledge and skills to function in a modern perioperative suite.  The curriculum consists of instruction in specialized courses and concentrated study in theory and lab practices.  Clinical experience in area hospitals prepares the student for an integral role on the perioperative staff.  The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and the Association of Surgical Technologists.
