Jefferson Community and Technical College President Ty Handy has announced the hiring of Ben Jackey as director of marketing, public relations and special projects. Reporting to the president, Jackey will join JCTC on Sept. 28.

Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) will offer a special open house specifically tailored for displaced ITT Technical Institute students. The Open House will be held on Thurs., Sept. 15 from 6 – 8 p.m. on the college’s Downtown Campus in Health Science Hall, 110 W. Chestnut, Louisville, KY.

Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) has hired a new Chief Financial Officer who brings over two decades of financial experience in higher education and healthcare. Gary Dryden comes to JCTC after most recently serving as the chief business officer at the University Of Michigan’s School Of Information.

Over the summer JCTC made some exciting changes to our library and tutoring services. We expanded our free tutoring services, the Learning Commons, to each of our six campuses. The libraries at the Bullitt County, Carrollton, Shelby County, and Technical Campuses are now Learning Commons, where you can work in a collaborative environment with faculty, staff and fellow students.

Schieman is JCTC's new cheif fundraising officer Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Schieman as the college’s chief fundraising officer. Schieman will join JCTC on August 29 and brings with him more than 30 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
