Student Senate

The Student Senate was founded in 1968 to represent the student population.

The Senate's purpose is to further student interest and facilitate leadership by:

• providing direct input into polices relating to academic affairs and student life;
• providing student input into available campus services and activities;
• providing meaningful educational, social, cultural, and service opportunities for students; and
• fostering constructive communication and interaction among the different segments of the campus community.
