Adult Student Center

Jefferson Community and Technical College, in partnership with Metropolitan College and the CREW Career Center,  assists and supports learners as they pursue educational and career goals. By achieving personal enrichment, enhancing employability skills, and improving the quality of life for themselves and their communities, adult learners will develop the knowledge and capacity to become self-directed lifelong learners. Adult learners are defined as individuals 25 years of age or older.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Guidance in navigating college policies & procedures
  • Referrals to sources of information
  • Interpretation of policies
  • Designated section of FYE 105 Achieving Academic Success for adult learners
    (Fall 2016 section FYE 105 53251-55H2.)
  • Programs of interest to adult learners
  • Information on programs/courses
  • Student Advocacy
  • Customized career coaching
  • Information on CLEP testing – get credit for what you already know
  • Workshops - Visit our workshops page for schedules and registration information.

Prospective and current JCTC students needing additional assistance can receive services in the ASC as a walk-in visit or schedule an individual appointment ahead of time by clicking here
