Brian Jennemann, who passed away at the age of 27 in 2001, was employed by Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services as an emergency medical technician until he lost his battle with bacterial meningitis. He had previously worked approximately five years for the Yellow Ambulance Company in Louisville. Ambulance Director Steve Wortham said, “Brian’s memory will live on in everyone he touched. He lives in our hearts, he lives in the patients that he’s treated. He will be along for the ride the next time the sirens sound and every time a life is saved.” Brian’s memory has been honored through this memorial scholarship that has been made available to Jefferson students enrolled in the Certified Paramedic Training program.
Open to students accepted into the January 2019 Certified Paramedic Training class at Jefferson Community and Technical College.
