JCTC academic team wins national title

On Wednesday, March 23, Dr. Gary A. Ransdell, president of Western Kentucky University (WKU) and Dr. Ty J. Handy, president of Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) will sign a formal joint admissions agreement between the two institutions.

The goal of the agreement is to make the transfer process as seamless as possible for JCTC students who wish to attend WKU. The benefits include on-site academic advising, a four-year degree plan, affordable tuition and transfer scholarships.
