Nikkia Rhodes, who is completing her associate degree in Culinary Arts at Jefferson Community and Technical College, is becoming no stranger to earning top honors.
She recently earned a First Place at SkillsUSA's regional competition in Louisville to represent JCTC in Commercial Baking at the national competition in June.
This spring she also was named Kentucky Restaurant Culinary Student of the Year. She received the award at the Kentucky Restaurateurs Gala at the Brown Hotel in Louisville.
This month, she was named JCTC's Outstanding Culinary Arts Student at the college's annual Awards & Recognition Ceremony.
Rhodes, who plans to transfer to earn a business degree, said I'm so honored to represent our program and our amazing Chef Instructors.
