Jefferson Jubilee kicks off fall with a little Bourbon Glam

Event supports student success initiatives at JCTC

LOUISVILLE, KY - Among Louisville s premier Fall events, the 6th annual Jefferson Jubilee will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept 18, 2015, at The Henry Clay in Louisville. This year s theme is Bourbon amp; Glam.

Sponsored by the Jefferson Community and Technical College Foundation, Jefferson Jubilee is a vital fund-raiser for scholarships and student success initiatives at JCTC.

This dress-to-impress event features cocktails and dinner as well as a carefully curated silent auction and an exciting, one-of-a-kind live auction. After dinner, guests will enjoy dancing to Kudmani, among Louisville s hottest dance bands.

This Bourbon amp; Glam event presented by Brown-Forman will feature special bourbon cocktails, bourbon-themed auction items and even a very special bourbon-laced dessert. The Glam will weave through this beautiful venue and find its way into some very special auction items.

New this year, donors have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets toward a dining package made up of $100 gift certificates to 24 of Louisville s best restaurants. Only 400 tickets will be sold. Tickets are $50 each. Raffle tickets are available now.

Auction items include a signed guitar by country music superstar Carrie Underwood and 4 tickets to the Grand Ole Opry and a 24-bottle package of wines rated 90 and up by Wine Spectator with a GE wine chiller. Also up for auction is an incredible opportunity for golf fans at the 2016 PGA Players Tournament at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It includes two daily passes to the exclusive Hospitality House, which has views of the 16th green and world famous 17th Island Green, daily passes to the Benefactor Pavilion, and hotel accommodations for two for 4 nights at the Hampton Inn by Hilton.

Each year, Jubilee attracts 400 Louisville-area leaders who recognize the significant role Jefferson Community and Technical College plays in workforce and economic development and in providing affordable access to quality higher education.

Proceeds go for scholarships and vital success services such as tutoring and learning labs that benefit hundreds of deserving students.
