Scholarships

15K Degrees Scholarships

15K Degrees is an initiative to actively engage and mobilize Louisville's African-American community to support educational attainment. Although the scholarship is not renewable, students may re-apply each year for consideration.

Eligibility

  • Must be resident of Jefferson County, Kentucky.
  • Must be of African-American descent.
  • High school graduating seniors with a 2.5 GPA.
  • Current or Returning students, must have a cumulative GPA of a 2.0.
  • Demonstrate financial need.

Where Can I use this scholarship?

Recipients may use the scholarship award at one of the following schools:

  • Bellarmine University
  • Indiana University Southeast
  • Jefferson Community & Technical College
  • Kentucky State University
  • Simmons College of Kentucky
  • Spalding University
  • University of Louisville
