Jefferson Community and Technical College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Automotive Technology: The Automotive Technology program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation.
Health Information Technology: The Health Information Technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM)
Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education: The Associate in Applied Science in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education at Jefferson Community and Technical College is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, www.naeyc.org. The accreditation term runs from March 2018 through March 2025.
Occupational Therapy Assistant Program: The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) www.acoteonline.org
Paramedic Technology: The Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
Physical Therapist Assistant: The Physical Therapist Assistant program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
Respiratory Therapist: The Respiratory Therapist program is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
Surgical Technology: The Surgical Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of CAAHEP. The program has been placed on Probationary Accreditation as of November 20, 2023. State Approved Programs
Associate Degree Nursing: The Associate Degree Nursing program is approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
Medicaid Nurse Aid: The Kentucky Medicaid Nurse Aid is approved and monitored by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department for Medicaid Services.
Practical Nursing: The Practical Nursing program is approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
