Kentucky Innovative Scholarship
The Kentucky Innovative Scholarship (KIS) is a new grant legislated by the state of Kentucky for students who are considered to be displaced, as defined as a refugee, parolee, asylee granted or approved, TPS (Temporary Protected Status) or SIV (Special Immigrant Visa). Students must have been in the United States for five years or less, and must live in the state of Kentucky to receive this scholarship.
We are hopeful that we will be able to start offering this scholarship as soon as Fall semester 2022.
If you need to apply to Jefferson Community & Technical College, you may submit the Application for Admission. It’s free, and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete.
