Lite 106.9 Exceptional Student Scholarship

Lite 106.9 and Jefferson Community & Technical College are proud to recognize the best and the brightest high school students in Kentuckiana and announce a one-of-a-kind scholarship program that students can qualify for or earn through a parent/teacher nomination.

Starting in January, Lite 106.9 and Jefferson Community & Technical College began searching for recipients for the Exceptional Student Scholarship Award. In June, three outstanding area students will be awarded scholarship money ($500 | $1000 | $2000) towards future education at Jefferson Community & Technical College.

Students, parents or teachers can submit their nominee.

Scholarships will be awarded to well-rounded students with interests in the community, art, music, sports, science, academics, and any other areas that might set them apart from their peers.

Each Friday morning, January 6th - May 25th at 7:40am, Lite 106.9 morning show host Jeff Ramsey will spotlight an area high school student as a finalist for the scholarships.

Each finalist will receive a certificate recognizing nomination.

In June, Lite 106.9 and Jefferson Community & Technical College will host all nominees at a final banquet to award the grand prize scholarships
