Free Speech on Campus
Students and visitors have the right of free expression.
Students are free to discuss, to express opinions, and to hear expression of opinion. Such expression of opinions and discussions must be accomplished without disrupting operations of the college. As part of the freedom to learn, students hear the widest expression of opinion.
Speakers invited to the campus offer opportunities for the presentation and examination of ideas. Such speakers represent their own points of view and not those of the college, the sponsors within the college, or the System.
The KCTCS Student Bill of Rights is included in the Code of Student Conduct.
