01/08	DT	Campus	Criminal Trespassing 3rd degree	A trespasser was warned against criminal trespassing. Left the location without incident.
01/08	DT	LIB	Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition under 300	Taxi driver complained that passenger fled into building without payment of fare. Subject was not found.
01/21	DT	VTI	TBUT under $300	Victim reports that he had last seen his cooking knives in his locker around 08:45am and when he checked at 11:00am they were missing. Victim did not have a lock on his locker.
01/22	DT	LIB	Disorderly Conduct and Student Code Violations	Two students got involved in a altercation inside of the LIB when they went outside and continued the altercation.  LIB security and campus safety diffused the situation and now the situation will be handed over to the dean of students.
01/26	DT	JEC	Terroristic Threatening/Criminal Trespassing	Subject made threat of employee and was escorted off campus and warned against trespassing.

02/11	DT	Campus	Attempted Robbery	Two African American males attempted to grab wallet of a student that they had asked for his change. After a brief struggle the student was able to get away with his wallet and without injury. Subject #1 is described as having an orange Natica coat, dark complexion, 20's, 5'10", blue jeans and thin build. Subject #2 is described as light complexion, 5'5", 20's, wearing a red hoodie, medium build and wearing blue jeans. LMPD is still investigating and incident may be related to another incident.
02/11	DT	Off Campus	Attempted Robbery	The student involved reported walking alone about 9:15 am along Jacob Street between First and Second streets behind the Hotel Louisville (formerly Holiday Inn). She said heard two men walking behind her. When they began walking faster she turned and looked at them and they stopped. When the men broke into a run she turned again but one of the men had caught up. She said he spoke to her and opened his jacket revealing a handgun. At that point the student ran into the hotel and called police. The men were last seen running south on Second Street. The student described the man with the gun as a dark-skinned African American male in his 20s about 5'10" with a thin build. He was wearing an orange Nautica jacket and blue jeans. The second man was described as a light- skinned African American male in his 20s about 5'5" with a medium build. He was wearing a light-colored hoodie and blue jeans. Security thinks these same two men may have also approached a man at Thornton's and attempted to take his wallet. While the incident took place off campus JCTC Security is working with police and reviewing security camera footage to see if the men had been on campus at any point and to aid in the identification of the alleged assailants. Chief Steve Martin asks that anyone who thinks they might have information about the identity of the two men to call JCTC Downtown Campus Security at 213-5000 or Louisville Metro Police anonymous tip line at 574-LMPD.

03/16	TC	Off Campus	Sexual Assault and Grand Theft Auto (carjacking)	Police Reported to Campus Personnel incident that occurred adjacent to property. Non-student assaulted entering privately owned vehicle. Victim later fled and notified LMPD Officers who arrested the subject.
03/24	DT	LIB	Verbal Assault Racial/Ethnic Harassment	students insulted in courtyard of LIB Security escorted offenders off campus and warned against trespass.

04/13	DT	VTI	TBUT over $300	Environmental Services supervisor claims that his club car was parked on the 10th of April around 21:00 hrs behind the LIB building and noticed that it was missing on the 13th of April around 09:00am. Search was conducted of the campus but turned up nothing. LMPD report#80-09-025575.
04/13	DT	VTI	TBUT under $300	Victim claims she had left a $10.00 bottle of Christan Butler Brandy unopened on the counter in the culinary lab and when she returned the following day it was gone. She also noted that someone had unplugged the computer monitors in that room and had probably been on the main computer again.

05/14	TC	BGA	Disorderly Conduct Student Code Violation	Student trying to complete testing for a program became noncompliant and and left testing area after causing a disruption.
05/14	DT	LIB	Criminal Mischief under $500 Lock Ties	Construction site found lock ties unsecured to access gate. Investigation is pending.
05/15	DT	HFD	TBUT under $300	An instructor left their office open for a short time to allow a student to take a test. When the instructor arrived the student taking the test had left and her door and purse were missing. Investigation is pending.

06/08	DT	LIB	fire alarm	A hot water heater busted on the roof of the LIB causing water damage to the 1st and 2nd floors. LMFD was dispatched and shut off water and silenced the alarm. College personnel was contacted and clean up has begun.
06/09	TC	BGA	TBUT over $300	Person(s) unknown removed an I-Phone from the desk of a tenant of the building. LMPD was notified and an investigation is pending.
06/10	DT	HFD	Disorderly conduct	Subject became disorderly in the college bookstore when they weren't able to sell a book back. The subject could not produce a receipt for the book. Subject left without further incident. The dean's office is handling the issue now.
