Commencement 2022

Congratulations! Your hard work has paid off and now it’s time to celebrate. Below you will find more information about Jefferson's Spring 2022 Commencement Ceremony.

Graduates, as we continue to navigate through the challenges of COVID-19, please be sure to diligently check this website and your kctcs.edu email for any updates we may have!

Eligible graduates who earned a diploma or AA/AS/AAS during Summer 2021, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 will receive an email invitiation to RSVP to this year's commencement in late March.

Thursday, May 19
Technical Education Ceremony, 5:30 p.m.
General Education Ceremony, 8 p.m.

Graduates will need to arrive no later than 30 minutes before their ceremony.

 

Parking is available surrounding the KICC. Be sure to leave early and arrive early to beat the downtown traffic.

Graduates will receive an RSVP email in their KCTCS .edu email by late March with additional information regarding tickets for the event. 

If you or a guest(s) are in need of ADA accommodations, please indicate ADA needs on the registration form sent to your (.edu) college email. 

You can pick up your regalia at the Jefferson Bookstore on the Downtown and Southwest Campuses or order online at JCTC.Me/Regalia 

Downtown Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 
 
Southwest Hours:

Monday & Tuesday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM 

Cap/gown/tassel bundles $39.98 plus tax (separates available)

Honor cords $14.98 plus tax: 

Gold for High Distinction (3.6 and above GPA) 
White for Distinction (3.4 - 3.59 GPA)

 

Summer and Fall 2021 credentials are on campus for pick up at the Records Office, 200 West Broadway on the Downtown Campus. Spring 2022 credentials will be available in July.

If you live in Jefferson County, Buckner, Clarksville, Crestwood, Goshen, Jeffersonville, LaGrange, Mount Washington, New Albany, Pewee Valley and Shepherdsville, you will need to pick up your credentials from the Records Office on the Downtown Campus. The Records Office will notify you when your credential is available.
