Heart of Jefferson
The Heart of Jefferson is a staff award that was established in February 2009. It will be awarded annually at the Staff Service Awards to one staff member who has demonstrated an extremely caring heart during the last year.
The award will be given at the Staff Service awards.
Think of a special Jefferson Staff member that embodies the true Heart of Jefferson!
We define a caring heart as a one that contributes in one or more of the following:
- lends a hand in times of need
- puts others needs before their own
- makes a positive impact in the community
- brings warmth to everyday activities
- takes the time to listen
- creates energetic team spirit
- rallies around a cause
- reaches out to make a difference
