PREPARING AUTOMOTIVE INSTRUCTORS FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY

As xEVs (hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicles) become a larger part of today’s automotive industry, instructors need the knowledge and confidence to prepare students for careers in this rapidly evolving field.

Our National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) project equips secondary and post-secondary automotive educators with practical, systems-based training focused on xEV safety, theory, maintenance, and repair.

  • Safety comes first. Students who complete ASE xEV Level 1 preparation can earn an industry-recognized xEV safety credential.
