
Future 42 College Signing Day Celebrates Students Going Pro in Advanced Manufacturing

Jefferson Community and Technical College’s Carrollton Campus recently celebrated the next generation of skilled professionals during Future 42 College Signing Day, recognizing more than 30 local students who are taking the next step toward careers in advanced manufacturing through Jefferson.
The event highlighted high school seniors who have committed to pursuing advanced manufacturing majors at Jefferson this fall, marking an exciting milestone as they prepare to transition from high school students to future industry leaders.
Future 42 College Signing Day served as both a celebration and a launch point, bringing together students, families, educators and community supporters to recognize these students’ commitment to building career-ready skills in the region’s most in-demand fields.
Jefferson’s advanced manufacturing programs including Applied Process Technologies, Engineering and Electronics Technology, Computer Information Technology, General Occupational and Technical Studies, and Welding, provide students with hands-on, workforce-focused education designed to prepare them for modern manufacturing careers. Through strong industry partnerships and practical training opportunities, students gain the technical knowledge and real-world experience needed to thrive in Kentucky’s growing workforce.
The event also reflected Jefferson’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to high-quality career pathways while supporting regional workforce needs.
