IGNITE event welcomes new students to Jefferson

Jefferson welcomed new students at its inaugural IGNITE event on July 21, where they connected with classmates, explored campus resources, and kicked off their Jefferson journey.

Designed to help students feel connected before the start of the semester, IGNITE introduced attendees to the people, programs, and services available to support their success at Jefferson.

Students received a free T-shirt, enjoyed lunch prepared by Jefferson's Culinary Arts students, and met with representatives from College Leadership, Student Affairs Leadership, Student Success and Engagement, Ready to Work, The HUB, ACE, TRIO, Financial Aid, Evolve502, ARC, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), Admissions, Advising, Transfer Services and the Learning Commons.

The event gave incoming students the opportunity to ask questions, build connections with their peers, and learn about the resources available to help them thrive throughout their Jefferson experience.
