Construction under way on JCTC theater arts building on Broadway

A historical structure at the corner of First Street and East Broadway in downtown Louisville is undergoing a significant makeover for use by Jefferson Community and Technical College.

The Louisville office of Churchill McGee LLC, a Lexington-based construction and design firm, has been working on the space at 100 East Broadway for about two weeks now, completing most of the needed demolition on the property, which has been used primarily for retail purposes over the years.
