Welcome to Jefferson Community and Technical College. Whether you are here as a prospective student, current student, client or visitor, we are happy you have chosen to learn more about Jefferson. The college has two missions, closely related. We serve students who are seeking a college credential or to transfer to a four-year program and companies who are seeking to provide additional education and training for their employees.

Jefferson, like other community and technical colleges, occupies a unique niche in higher education by welcoming all students through open access policies. If you are new to college, have been away from school for a while or if you already have a college credential and are looking to increase or improve your skills, you are welcome and supported here. Our faculty are dedicated to teaching and learning and students thrive in our small classrooms, where they receive personal attention.

Employers receive high quality, customized education and professional development programs through the college's Workforce Solutions department.

In addition, Jefferson also enjoys support, along with partnerships with numerous colleges, agencies and companies, including UPS and the University of Louisville through Metropolitan College, KentuckianaWorks and the One-Stop Career Centers, Jefferson County Public Schools Adult Education, and many more.
