What is Applied Process Technologies?
The Applied Process Technologies (APT) program prepares the graduate for entry-level operations in the power plant, chemical, petro-chemical, refining, and general industries. It teaches students about automated and semi-automated systems used in various industries.
APT prepares students in the safe start-up, operation and shutdown of various system components and units.

Length of Program
Students selecting the certificate options must test at the MAT126 ready level. Progression in the program is contingent upon achievement of a grade of C or higher in the Math, Physics, Chemistry and technical courses and maintenance of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale.
You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
