Ready to Work Program
Ready to Work (RTW) is a program developed through a partnership between the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS), and Department for Community Based Services (DCBS).
Ready to Work is designed to assist eligible Jefferson students in the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP).
The program provides the RTW participant with a comprehensive network of support services
including counseling, advocacy, mentoring, job skills training, academic success training,
personal financial education, tutoring, and referrals to other community-based agencies.
RTW Coordinators also assist students in accessing additional supportive services
and benefits provided through KCHFS and other agencies including transportation, childcare,
and housing assistance.
Office Location:
The RTW Office is located on the Downtown Campus in room 111 of Chestnut Hall. Chestnut Hall is located at 110 W. Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202
