What is a Mercedes-Benz Certified Systems Technician?
This new automotive training model creates a pathway to earn a Mercedes-Benz Certified Systems Technician Level 1 after 3 semesters (fall, spring, summer), or one year in the program and can lead to an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology.
The college level certificates earned will align with Mercedes-Benz curriculum. All the training will be provided on Mercedes-Benz automobiles with MBUSA tools and equipment where required.

What are my degree, diploma, and certificate options?
Students can finish the one year MBA program and move right into the Mercedes-Benz dealership, or they can continue their college learning and finish the diploma or AAS degree.
Please note: JCTC does not have an auto body program.

JCTC's Automotive Technology program does not work on outside (customer) vehicles. The program does consider donations for cars within the last 10 model years.
Length of Program
You can earn five certificates in the Mercedes-Benz Accelerate program in 1 year and an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology in two years if you maintain full-time.
