Jefferson Community and Technical College (Jeferson) is transforming our flagship downtown Louisville campus, elevating the student, staff, visitor, and community experience and serving as the catalyst for transformational downtown redevelopment. Jefferson Rising, a $90 million multi-year renovation project will create a dynamic campus life, with dedicated areas for students and staff to gather, study, and relax.

This exciting project will improve the opportunities we offer students and employers and will serve as the foundational project in the reimagining and revitalization of downtown Louisville.

That starts with the Center for Science and Discovery, which will provide state-of-the-art labs and educational spaces, empowering our faculty, staff, students and program participants to innovate and shape science careers of the future. When complete, the Center for Science and Discovery will act as a shinning beacon to the community on the power of curiosity, dedication, determination, and lifelong learning.
