About
Jefferson Rising, Jefferson Community and Technical College Foundation's fundraising campaign, has officially kicked off for the College's $90 million, multi-year renovation project will create a dynamic campus life, with dedicated areas for students and staff to gather, study and relax.
This exciting project will improve the opportunities we offer students and employers and will serve as the foundational project in the revitalization of downtown Louisville.
The first phase will bring a new science building, green space and parking garage to West Broadway, between First and Second Streets. Construction is slated to begin in August 2023 on a multi-level parking garage facing Second Street, dedicated to students, staff and faculty, with commercial space on the ground level. A new 40,000-square-foot academic science building will face First Street and eventually replace the 11-story Hartford Hall Tower. A new green space between the two buildings will act as a gathering place for students and staff.
Jefferson Community & Technical College is much more than buildings and programs: we’re a community where students find confidence, collaboration, compassion and success. It’s no coincidence, community is in our name for a reason.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we launch the next generation of our campus, which will create a positive, engaging and more welcome ‘front door’ experience for students, staff, faculty and the Greater Louisville community. Together, we are JeffersonRising.
