Welcome to Jefferson and the start of the Fall 2027 semester, which begins Monday, August 17, 2026.  We know the first day can be busy, so we want to help you start off right with important parking information.

All Jefferson parking lots and the Downtown Campus parking garage require a valid parking permit. Strict enforcement will begin Monday, August 24, 2026.  Vehicles without a valid permit may be subject to ticketing, towing, or wheel booting.  Please ensure your parking permit is clearly displayed and visible at all times, either hanging from your rearview mirror or placed prominently on your dashboard.  Note that your student ID is not a valid parking permit.

With our transformative construction project, Jefferson Rising coming to an end on the Downtown Campus, below are parking tips that we want to share with you: 

• Allow for extra time to find one of our designated parking lots and spaces labeled “JCTC Parking.” 
• Dedicated accessible parking is available in each parking lot. 
• If you need an escort/ride to or from your vehicle from any Jefferson Parking Lot on the Downtown Campus, Campus Safety is available and can be reached at 502-418-9051.
• For those that have not purchased a permit and wish to park in the student lots, visit JCTC.ME/Parking to get yours today. Please note: Student balances must be paid in full or have official payment arrangements (official payment plan, approved third party, financial aid) established before permit will be released.
