The HUB @ Jefferson
The HUB is committed to transforming the lives of Jefferson students through assistance with meeting basic needs and accessing campus and community resources. The HUB aims to remove non-academic barriers to college success and contributes to educational attainment for all students.
Services of the HUB
The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) recognizes that the quality of instruction and educational opportunities for all are enhanced when the diversity of the community served is represented in the student and workforce population. The KCTCS Office of Multicultural Affairs and the 16 diversity officers at each of the colleges are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) programs which promote diversity and remedy the underrepresentation of women and people of color.
- Connect students to on-campus and community supports
- Address food insecurity through The Pantry
- Facilitate applications for the Student Emergency Fund (Do not request a computer with this form)
- Host events and workshops to promote student well-being
Student Laptop Requests have been moved to the Learning Commons. Navigate to the “More Information” section on the Learning Commons page and click on the “Computer Request” tab.
Clothing Closet
The Hub has a limited clothing closet for students to utilize in times of need. Students are allowed to utilize the clothing closet no more than once a month.
If you would like to donate to the clothing closet, please drop off any new or gently used items every Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Hub Hygiene
Do you need hygiene and cleaning products? Jefferson and The Hub can help provide you with supplies. You can request items once a month. These supplies are limited, and students may not receive every item they requested. These items should only be requested out of necessity and/or in emergency situations. Please use our Hub Hygiene Form to make requests.

Hours and contacts
The Hub at the Downtown Campus is run by Johni Ison, MSSW and Naranda Cloyd. The Southwest Campus is run by Juanita Cooper. You can contact Hub representatives at JF-Hub@kctcs.edu.
Downtown Campus
The HUB is located in the basement of Chestnut Hall, room B10. Chestnut Hall is located at 110 W. Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202. The HUB is open on Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.
Southwest Campus
The HUB @ Southwest Campus is located in room 151 of the Administration Building. The Administration Building is located at 1000 Community College Drive, Louisville, KY 40272. The HUB @ Southwest Campus is open on Monday–Thursday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and on Fridays by appointment only.
