Access and Community Engagement Resource Center
Mission
The Access and Community Engagement Resource Center provides Jefferson students an opportunity to expand their collegiate experience outside of the classroom through programming and development of competence. We are committed to providing an environment for all students to explore their identity while prioritizing advocacy efforts for traditionally under-resourced students with community building and shared space.
Vision
Our vision is to remain a constant advocate for students at Jefferson Community and Technical College through our initiatives to promote global educational and civic opportunities throughout Louisville through community partnerships.

Land Acknowledgment
Related to the mission of The Office of Access and Community Engagement, and in an effort to recognize and celebrate differences among groups on our campus, we acknowledge that the land on which we inhabit is the original ancestral homelands of the Shawnee, Cherokee, Yuchi, Chickasaw, Osage, and Kentucky tribal nations.
We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory, and we honor and pay respect to the many Indigenous peoples - past, present, and future - still connected to this land.
Why we do a land acknowledgement?
The Access and Community Engagement Resource Center is located on the Downtown Campus in the Chestnut Hall, Room B14
