eLearning
"eLearning" is the term we use for distance learning (sometimes called online learning
or electronic learning) at Jefferson Community and Technical College. As a student
in the 21st century, there are countless opportunities for learning at your fingertips, regardless
of your schedule, location, or circumstances. At Jefferson, we believe that offering
a robust selection of online learning opportunities is crucial to effectively serving
our students in this day and age—wherever they are, whatever time or day.
Jefferson offers students the opportunity to enroll in online courses offered by any
of the 16 KCTCS colleges across the state of Kentucky. There are literally hundreds of online classes available
within this system, so there's no shortage of options, no matter your future plans.
The eLearning area of Jefferson's website (your current location) will assist you
in each step in the process of distance learning, from start to finish, providing
answers to all sorts of "How do I..." questions. While eLearning isn't the right fit
for everyone, if it is a good fit for your needs, we'll do everything we can to make
your experience enjoyable and informative. And if you're not even sure if eLearning
is right for you, well, we'll help you figure that out too.
