Are you a former Jefferson student? Here’s how to apply for readmission and restart your journey toward a better tomorrow.
How to Apply
Returning to Jefferson is easy, no matter how long you’ve been gone. We’re here for you, every step of the way. Just follow these simple steps:
- Submit the Application for Admission. It’s free, and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete.
- Submit transcripts from other colleges you’ve attended. Ask your college to send transcripts to our Office of Admission.
- College Transcripts can be ordered on National Student Clearinghouse.
Please note: college transcripts must be delivered directly from the previous institution to us via electronic transfer or mail in a stamped and sealed envelope. - If mailing a transcript, please send to the following address:

- College Transcripts can be ordered on National Student Clearinghouse.
- Submit any updated ACT or SAT scores or the results of placement testing.
Official test scores received within the last four years may be accepted in the following formats:- ACT/KYOTE/SAT listed on an officially submitted high school transcript (see above
for submission guidelines).
- If a student submits a high school transcript with a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.2 or higher, the testing requirement may be waived for some subjects.
- ACT scores may be submitted online through ACT.
- SAT scores may be submitted online through SAT College Board.
- KY GED scores must be submitted online through GED.
- Please note only Kentucky GED scores received in the last 4 years with a RTLA score of 165 may be utilized for reading test requirement.
- Scores should be sent directly from the organization to Jefferson, scores released to students and opened will not be accepted.
