Want to take a class or two at Jefferson while you're enrolled at another college? Here's how to apply for admission.

We welcome visiting students from other colleges who want to round out their studies with classes at Jefferson. If you're not currently enrolled in another school, apply as a first-time freshman or transfer student.

How to Apply & Complete your Admissions File

It's easy to apply to Jefferson as a visiting student, and we're here to help. Just follow these three steps:

Start Your Application

Once your application is received and processed, you will receive an email with a link to complete an enrollment request form. This form will require a valid & official government issued photo ID (front and back) and a copy of an unofficial transcript to be attached for processing. You will receive an email with confirmation of enrollment or a notification of information needed.

Please note, to attend Jefferson as a visiting or Metroversity student, you must be in good standing at your current institution with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Set up your KCTCS User Account.

To get started, you'll need:

  • Your student ID number (sent in your initial application confirmation email)
  • A phone number or email address you can receive messages on for your security code

Visiting students are eligible for Financial Aid by completing a Consortium Agreement. Please contact the financial aid office at your home college to complete the request.
