Know what classes you want to take?
Current Students have 2 options for registration:
- Students can self-enroll via Student Self-Service accounts.
- How To Self-Register for Classes.
- Students can email the Advising Center (JF-Advising-Center@KCTCS.edu) or Records Office (JF-Records-Office@KCTCS.edu).
- Must use your KCTCS student email account, include your student ID number and the specific course names and numbers.
Advising Center Hours
The Advising Center will be closed on the following days:
- August 30 for Professional Development
- September 2 in observation of Labor Day
August Hours
- August 19-21 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- August 22-23 from 8:30am a.m.-4 p.m.
- August 26-29 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Regular Schedule (Will Resume on September 3)
Tuesday & Thursday: In-person Walk-in Advising Services ONLY from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: By Appointment.
To Schedule an Appointment: Current students can log into their Blackboard Account to access Starfish to schedule their appointments. New (or Returning from enrollment absence) can email JF-Advising-Center@kctcs.edu to request an appointment or to be connect with their assigned advisor. Please include your ID number and your date of birth with the appointment request.

Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Advising By Appointment (preferred): We strongly suggest students make an appointment due to limited staffing. To request an appointment, email JF-BullittCampus-info@kctcs.edu. Please include your ID number and/or your date of birth.
Walk-in Advising: Walk-in advising availability is subject to appointments previously scheduled by other students. Appointments are strongly recommended as staffing may be limited on certain days.
Monday-Thursday: In-person Walk-in Advising from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday: In-person Walk-in Advising from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Virtual Walk-in Advising from 12-4 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday: By appointment only.

Required for Virtual Meeting
- Must on a computer or device that has both a functioning camera and microphone. Both will need to be turned-on during the session.
- A photo ID.
- Must be in a safe, secure location. Ex. Not driving or operating machinery.
