Summer and Fall 2024 registration opened for current students on Friday, March 1, so the time is now to meet your advisor! See below for Jefferson Advising Center hours and locations.
Know what classes you want to take?
Current Students have 2 options for registration:
- Students can self-enroll via Student Self-Service accounts.
- How To Self-Register for Classes.
- Students can email the Advising Center (JF-Advising-Center@KCTCS.edu) or Records Office (JF-Records-Office@KCTCS.edu).
- Must use your KCTCS student email account, include your student ID number and the specific course names and numbers.
Advising Center Hours
The Downtown Advising Center will be closed for Professional Development Trainings on the following days:
- Thursday, March 7
- Friday, March 8
- Friday, March 29
Regular Schedule
Monday & Thursday: In-person Walk-in Advising Services ONLY from 8:30am–4pm
Tuesday , Wednesday & Friday: By Appointment.
To Schedule an Appointment: Current students can log into their Blackboard Account to access Starfish to schedule their appointments. New (or Returning from enrollment absence) can email JF-Advising-Center@kctcs.edu, to request an appointment or to be connect with their assigned advisor. Please include your ID number and your date of birth with the appointment request.
Monday–Thursday: 9am–4pm
Advising By Appointment (preferred): We strongly suggest students make an appointment due to limited staffing. To request an appointment, email JF-BullittCampus-info@kctcs.edu. Please include your ID number and/or your date of birth.
Walk-in Advising: Walk-in advising availability is subject to appointments previously scheduled by other students. Appointments are strongly recommended as staffing may be limited on certain days.
Monday–Thursday: In-person Walk-in Advising from 8:30am–4pm
Friday: In-person Walk-in Advising from 8:30am–12pm; Virtual Walk-in Advising from 12–4pm
Monday–Thursday: 9am–4pm
Friday: Appointment Only
