Welcome to the Academic Advising Center!

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has presented our world, country and College with a unique public health challenge that is all the more disquieting because of the uncertainties associated with its spread. 

Our primary goals, as always, is carrying out our educational mission while ensuring the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors.

To help us achieve these goals under demanding conditions, we are compelled to make the following changes.

Due to COVID Safety restrictions, Jefferson’s Advising services will take place online. Current Students can schedule virtual advising appointments via their Starfish Account. Returning or Transfer students can contact their local campus (see links below) for details as to how to schedule an advising appointment.

Jefferson’s Advising Centers will remain open and continue serving students. Instead of coming to Bullitt campus, students are asked to contact JF-BullittCampus-Info@kctcs.edu  or JF-Advising-Center@kctcs.edu  to request assistance via email communications for advising questions.

If you do not have an assigned advisor or do not know who it is you can call the main phone number 502.732.4846 or email Amanda.Ashcraft@kctcs.edu.  E-Advising will be available as well as assistance via email communications for advising questions.

Returning Shelby County students can sign up for virtual advising services by going to the Starfish tab on their MyPath account.
