Transcripts

Need an official transcript?

It’s easy to get one—and we’re here to help.

A transcript is the complete record of your academic work at Jefferson, including your classes, your grades, and your degree. You’ll need an official transcript to transfer to another college or university, and you might need one if you’re applying for a job.

Place your order online through the National Student Clearinghouse. This is the fastest way to get your transcript delivered, and you can choose your delivery method.

The National Student Clearinghouse allows our students & alumni to get their official transcripts electronically and quickly during this time. We encourage using our electronic option where possible. We provide options for you to enter an email address to send to or for you to select a College or University mailbox directly.

Feel free to email us at JF-Records-Office@kctcs.edu with any questions.

In 2009, Jefferson Community and Technical College's Downtown Campus suffered a flood that caused considerable damage on the lower levels of two buildings. One of the buildings housed student records from 1968 to 1986. Most student records were recovered, however, processing a request for this time frame can take longer (up to 10 days). If your records were damaged the college will supply you with an official letter to share with the agency requiring a transcript.

Need an unofficial transcript?

Complete the Unofficial Transcript Request form to receive a copy of your unofficial transcript at no charge. Our team will review your completed form and be in touch with you in 1-2 business days. Please note that only official transcripts can be used for admission to another institution. An unofficial will not be accepted and is only to review previous academic work.
