Online Orientation FAQs
No, the orientation is a resource, not a class. It is frequently assigned as homework in classes such as FYE.
If the orientation is assigned as homework, it will likely have a due date. Otherwise, it remains open until the end of the academic year, when a new version becomes available for the next year.
If you have previously completed the orientation, you should have received a certificate by email. You can find it by searching for “kool” in your inbox and show it to your professor as proof of completion.
You will only receive a certificate after fully completing the orientation—not just one module. If you only finished part of a previous version, you must complete the current version to earn the certificate.
You can email jf-elearning@kctcs.edu.
Double-check that you completed all six required modules. To receive your certificate, you must also submit the form in Module 6. Most issues occur because a module wasn’t fully completed, so please review your progress before contacting us.
You are likely viewing an older version of the orientation. Check the title to see which academic year it applies to.
The modules only open after you have fully completed the previous content. Most issues happen because a quiz was not passed, so please review your progress before emailing us. Quizzes can be retaken.
