Watch:

• A severe thunderstorm watch means severe weather is possibly approaching.
• Continue normal activities, but also continue to monitor the situation.

Warning:

• A warning means a severe thunderstorm is in the local area.
• Tell others in the building.
• Thunderstorm Warning:
  • Stay indoors and away from windows until the storm passes.
• Continue to monitor weather reports and be prepared to react in response to a tornado warning.
• Do not attempt to turn utilities or equipment on or off.
