International Student Support

The Office of International Student Support (ISS) provides wrap around services to the international student population at Jefferson to help remove non-academic barriers to student success. Support services include culturally relevant and responsive programming, success coaching, connection to campus and community resources, and space to build community and connections among the 900+ international students.

International Students at Jefferson By the Numbers

As of the 2023-2024 academic year, Jefferson's international student population represented 52 countries from all five continents. The top five countries of origin are Cuba, Venezuela, Haiti, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Afghanistan. International Student Support Center

The International Student Support Center offers students a space to gather in community, study, work on classwork, print, and grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The space is also host to a variety of events. The Center is located in the basement of Chestnut Hall, suite B12. It is directly across from the Multicultural Center and just down from the HUB.
