Once your aid is complete, Jefferson will place your eligible loan amount on your account. Remember, you must be enrolled in at least six (6) program applicable credit hours to receive a student loan.

You must then do the following three (3) steps:

  1. Accept/reduce/decline the loans through your self-service.
  2. You must complete a Master Promissory Note online at https://studentaid.gov/
  3. You must complete Entrance Loan Counseling online at https://studentaid.gov/.

You may electronically sign the MPN using your FSA ID. This is the same FSAID used to sign your FAFSA electronically. If misplaced, you may register for a new FSA ID.
